About Pacific JITC
The Pacific Joint Information Technology Center (Pacific JITC) based in Maui, HI supports DoD medical readiness requirements and IT modernization needs through rapid prototyping and advanced concept development. The organizational mission is “To rapidly research, test and develop warfghter medical solutions and products, through pilots or prototypes, that provide mission critical value and actionable information to the DoD, including the Services, Combatant Commanders, and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).”

These warfghter projects, typically advanced concept development pilots/prototypes, refect the current, emerging needs of the Department of Defense, the Combatant Commands (COCOMs) and the Services as identifed thorough the requirements development process of the Theater Functional Working Group and Force Health Protection Integrating Council.

The Pacific JITC also has a test and evaluation lab to support software and systems testing related to the military medical continuum of care.

A government management office is located in Maui and works closely with representatives in the Military Health System (MHS), the Services and the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC).
